GIFT Inauguration

GIFT was inaugurated at a ceremony held in Hyderabad by the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. Hyderabad's very own VVS Laxman launched a book on Gastrointestinal Cancer, authored by Dr Sharma and Dr Reddy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sachin Tendulkar appreciated the efforts of Dr Reddy and Dr Sharma in starting a cancer research and treatment foundation. He said, "I think it's named appropriately, GIFT. I think the greatest gift which any human can get from doctors is a life, to live and enjoy. Breathe freely, enjoy your freedom. I don't think there is anything more valuable than that."
